What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Host position at Ollie & Hobbes Craft Kitchen?
Ollie & Hobbes is a busy full-service restaurant, and we are looking for a part time Host. Our part time position would require 1-3 shifts per week. A Host presents a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. The Host also greets guests upon arrival, informs Guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, show guests to their table and thanks guests as they leave.
A Host must be a people person with a great attitude. They are responsible for welcoming guests to the restaurant and making that very important first impression. The Host is also responsible for a few items such as cleaning the front door and menus, answering the phone, taking to go orders, and helping guests with picking up or curbside orders. This is a great entry level position before moving up to server or bartender. This is also a great first time job. No experience necessary. We are happy to train the right candidate.
