Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Operations Manager / Project Manager to oversee daily office operations while coordinating construction projects and property management activities. This role is essential to ensuring projects stay on schedule, materials are ordered correctly, customers are informed, and office operations run smoothly.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Operations
- Schedule estimates, project start dates, and field crews.
- Coordinate daily job schedules to keep projects on track and on time.
- Contact customers to schedule estimates, project starts, and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure all materials are ordered accurately and delivered before work begins.
- Verify that the correct materials, quantities, and products are ordered for each project.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines.
- Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates with customers and team members.
- Maintain organized project files, contracts, permits, and documentation.
Office Administration & Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication.
- Manage calendars, appointments, and daily office operations.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and company documentation.
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Participate in occasional evening networking and community outreach events.
- Help build and maintain strong relationships with customers and community partners.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable managing project timelines and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfortable learning new software and office systems.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Experience in construction, project coordination, property management, or office administration is preferred but not required.
