Delivery Specialist – Oliver Travel Trailers
The Delivery Specialist serves as a key brand ambassador for Oliver Travel Trailers, playing a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position is responsible for guiding customers through their new trailer on delivery day, ensuring they are confident in operating and enjoying their Oliver.
In addition to customer deliveries, this role supports pre-delivery inspections, unit preparation, and cross-functional efforts with sales and marketing. We are seeking a dependable, personable, and detail-oriented team member who takes pride in delivering a “best-in-class” experience.
This position is based in Hohenwald, TN, with minimal travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Delivery & Orientation
- Welcome customers and create a positive, memorable first impression
- Conduct comprehensive delivery walkthroughs, demonstrating trailer features and operations
- Answer product and delivery-related questions with confidence and clarity
- Ensure customers feel comfortable and confident using their new camper
Pre-Delivery Inspection & Preparation
- Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure units meet quality standards
- Complete minor repairs or adjustments as needed
- Wash, stage, and prepare trailers for delivery
Sales & Marketing Support (as needed)
- Assist with photo and video shoot preparation
- Conduct plant tours, guiding customers through the manufacturing process
- Support sales team with day-to-day tasks and customer interactions
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, service, and production teams to ensure smooth delivery operations
- Maintain a professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to engage with a wide range of personalities in a professional manner
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, positive attitude with a strong team mindset
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience towing and backing trailers preferred
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods (2 hours)
- Basic mechanical knowledge (wiring, plumbing, general maintenance)
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required; technical training or certifications preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
