Oliver James' New York are looking to add experienced account managers to their already high performing teams across multiple verticals.


We are looking to build on the success we have seen in 2025 by adding account managers to the team to work with existing key accounts, leveraging relationships to sell contract solutions and increase revenue.

Responsibilities of the role:


  • Building on existing relationships within relevant professional markets (finance, actuarial, claims, underwriting, broking, legal), working closely with the existing team, sharing information and contacts, and taking advantage of our extensive existing client base
  • Defining client requirements whilst mapping out the organisational structure, the culture and client's annual growth plans
  • Negotiating commercial terms with FTSE 150 companies, understanding the implication of the PSL for both permanent and contract hires
  • Cross selling other disciplines and incorporating other business areas into the relationships cultivated
  • Achieving set revenue targets and associated metrics


About you:


  • 5 years' experience in the recruitment industry
  • Business development experience (3 year ) is a MUST
  • Have experience recruiting across any vertical within the professional services space
  • You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, an impressive presence and demonstrate the ability to build long term business relationships
  • You must display ambition and a track record of high achievement either in or out of work
  • Be a career minded individual who are looking for a role with rapid progression based on merit
