This position is for an experienced Business Development Consultant working in our Charlotte office, focusing on building long term relationships with new and existing clients who are growing within the technology space, this is a pure sales/account development & management opportunity (no hands-on recruiting).

About the role
Your responsibilities will be:
- Cold calling companies to promote recruitment services and meeting with new clients to develop and expand business opportunities
- Business development activity targeting new and existing clients in order to establish relationships and a personal brand within your specialist market
- Identifying and developing client/business relationships and advising on and selling the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates
- Negotiating terms of business, fee structures and PSL agreements with clients
- Conducting client visits, briefing meetings and regular check-ins to understand hiring needs and build long-term partnerships
- Providing market insight and consultative advice on salary benchmarking, talent availability and hiring strategy
About you
- Minimum 3 years' agency recruitment experience
- Experience managing the full client cycle end-to-end, from business development through to offer and placement
- A strong and sustainable billing history
- Experience building and developing a desk from scratch or taking a warm desk to the next level
- Demonstrable success winning new clients through business development, cold calling and networking activity
- A track record of building long-term client relationships, not just transactional placements
