We are partnering with a global reinsurer to support the search for an Auditor – Reinsurance Transactions. This is a newly created role within a growing audit function that supports both treaty operations and a recently launched MGA (Managing General Agent) business. The position focuses on end-to-end auditing of reinsurance contracts, including premium verification, claims validation, and policy reconciliation. Reporting directly to senior underwriting leadership, this individual will play a key role in ensuring contract compliance and financial accuracy across multiple client engagements.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Stamford, CT, with periodic travel required for on-site audits.

Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 5 years of accounting or audit experience, preferably in the reinsurance industry
- Proven experience auditing reinsurance transactions, contracts, or treaty arrangements
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reconciling financial data
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Comfortable interacting with clients, brokers, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines across a diverse client base
- Self-motivated and action-oriented, with a mindset for process improvement
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior management
