They're looking to bring on an actuary who enjoys partnering closely with brokers, working directly with clients, and helping shape reinsurance structures from an analytical perspective.This is a great role for someone who wants more visibility, more say in decision-making, and the chance to influence both client strategy and internal modelling approaches. The group is growing, forward-thinking, and places a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation (including leveraging more modern tools and AI where it makes sense).What You'll Be DoingRather than sitting behind the scenes, this role works hand-in-hand with the broking teams. You'd help interpret client data, provide insight on program design, and be a key voice in advising clients. There's also an opportunity to mentor junior analysts and contribute to improving tools, processes, and modelling frameworks as the team scales.Who They're Looking ForThey're open in terms of background, but you'll ideally be:ACAS / near-ACAS / FCASComfortable working directly with clients and internal stakeholdersStrong analytically, with some programming exposure (R or Python)Familiar with P&C lines; reinsurance experience is a plus but not essentialSomeone who enjoys problem-solving and wants to get more involved in production and strategy
