As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction while managing service operations efficiently.
Service Advisor or Manager experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs, Writing repair orders, organization, great communication and follow through with excellent customer service skills.
- Utilize knowledge to covey recommendations and recommend appropriate services.
- Manage service writing tasks, documenting customer requests and technician recommendations accurately.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition, enhancing overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of repairs.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services performed.
- Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance, ensuring transparency in pricing for customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership as An advisor is required.
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Experience in upselling services and products related to automotive repair.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes and service writing techniques.
- Knowledge of various automotive systems including air brakes, alignment, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and auto body repair is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
