The assistant billing clerk is solely responsible for billing and invoicing accordingly. This position emphasizes teamwork and aligns with the core values of Oliver’s well distinguished history of the fire protection industry.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Process final invoices through Service Trade
- Compiles and executes billings in accordance with Spectrum and Service Trade
- Interface with associated customer portals for billing process
- Reviews and verifies accuracy of billing and supporting documentation, as required
- Research and responds to billings inquiries from internal and external clients in a timely and professional manner
- Attends 1:1 meeting with operation support supervisor
- Attends monthly department meetings
- Assist with accounts receivable when necessary
- Collaborates with accounting team
- Assist with answering phones and forwarding to appropriate party
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required: Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred
- Experience in administration
- Customer service experience preferred
- Proficient skill with MS Office software; word, excel, etc.
- Excellent phone and email skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
