Dates: *Monday-Friday, Saturday-Sunday*

Hours: 9AM-5PM

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with heavy lifting and transferring of individuals as needed
- Provide patient care and ensure a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities with individuals
- Implement behavior support plans and strategies as directed by supervisors
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary
- Provide dementia care for individuals with memory impairments

Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Familiarity with working people with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is an asset
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is beneficial
- Understanding of dementia care techniques is advantageous
