Salary: $69,800-$86,000 (depending on related experience)
Schedule: 45 hours per week with flexible daily start and end times

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Specialist. This position will be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of technical training programs to ensure workforce proficiency, competency, and compliance.

Training Specialist Essential Job Functions:

• Model and drive organizational culture, vision, and values throughout the entire company through all training methods.
• Create and update technical training materials, including standard work instructions, visual aids, and lesson plans tailored to specific manufacturing processes.
• Engage on the production floor with supervisors and production to determine training gaps. Work to close necessary gaps with coaching, training and hands on interactions.
• Design and implement hands-on technical training for all operations.
• Spend significant time (often up to 70% of shift) in production areas, providing real-time coaching and support to operations.
• Ensure all training records are audit-ready for regulatory standards and perform regular audits of manufacturing areas.
• Hold Supervisors accountable to training records and work together to meet necessary deadlines.

Training Specialist Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate's degree* in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Training or a Manufacturing related program preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a dedicated training capacity with experience in creating and delivering training content
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional leadership and support to team members.
• Ability to meet the role's physical demands, including, but not limited to, continuous standing/walking and occasionally picking up material weighing up to 50 pounds.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
