Sander Operator

Olhausen Billiards is a leading manufacturer of premium pool tables and specialty game tables. We are seeking a motivated, self-driven individual who is eager to grow within the woodworking industry and become part of a skilled production team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor multiple industrial sanding and planing machines in our woodshop setting
• Accurately read and use measuring devices including standard/metric tape measures and calipers.
• Operate sanders to smooth surfaces of wood objects.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation and report any issues.
• Monitor sanding process to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow safety procedures to avoid accidents and injuries.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met.
• Repairs cracks and other damages on game tables.
• Record production data and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftmanship.
• Ability to accurately read measuring devices.
• Ability to operate sanding machines and other woodworking tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet up to 10 hours.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday - 6:30am - 3:15pm

Olhausen conducts a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
