What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified ESC Speech and Language Pathologist- ESC position at Olentangy Local School District?
Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a Full-time Speech and Language Pathologist position(s) available within Olentangy Schools for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year, and continued through the 2026-27 school year. The Speech and Language Pathologist provides for the identification, diagnosis, and remediation of communication disorders to help students achieve maximum benefit from the educational program. Encourages parental involvement. Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) and must hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio State Board of Education (OSBE).
Work hours for the position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Mondays are for professional development, classroom preparation, child check screenings, and other duties as assigned. Preschool students attend Tuesday through Friday.
Employment status: Certified, 185-day employment contract
Qualifications for the position include:
- Valid and appropriate speech and language pathologist license or certificate
- Meets all mandated health requirements
- Training and/or experience in behaviorial management techniques is preferred
- Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
