What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Manager position at Old York Road Country Club?
Old York Road Country Club is looking for a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help elevate the overall member dining experience.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working with a team, an eye for detail, and setting the tone for service. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in running a clean, organized operation and knows how to build a strong team environment.
You’ll be involved in all aspects of the operation, including a la carte dining, banquets, pool service, and the halfway house. The right candidate will be visible, engaged, and comfortable leading from the front during busy service periods.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the front-of-house team across all outlets
- Maintaining a consistent, high level of service for members and guests
- Hiring, training, and developing staff
- Running pre-shift meetings and setting clear expectations
- Handling member interactions and resolving issues in real time
- Managing labor, scheduling, and overall floor execution
- Supporting beverage programs, inventory, and ordering
- Working closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth service
