School Office CoordinatorWorcester Cultural Academy Public Charter School | Worcester, MA | Full-TimeWorcester Cultural Academy Charter Public School is seeking a warm, organized, and community-minded School Office Coordinator to be the operational heartbeat of our school. This is a highly visible role youre often the first face families and visitors see, the voice that answers the phone, and the steady hand that keeps daily school operations running smoothly. We are looking for someone who brings genuine care for students and families, strong administrative skills, and a natural ability to build relationships across a diverse and dynamic school community. Bilingual candidates (English/Portuguese or English/Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply.Who We AreWorcester Cultural Academy (WCA) is a growing charter public school that opened in August 2023 with a vision of becoming a K8 community.

We launched as a K4 school and have added a grade every year since this fall we welcome our first 7th graders. As an EL (Expeditionary Learning) Education school, we believe in hands-on learning that challenges students to grow in three dimensions: mastery of knowledge and skills, character, and high-quality work. We partner with organizations like the EcoTarium, Worcester Art Museum, and Hanover Theater, and anchor our curriculum in Learning Expeditions that make learning meaningful and real.Our faculty and staff our Adult Crew collaborate closely, show up for students and each other, and participate in everything from orientation and celebrations of learning to graduation. If youre looking for a role where youll be a valued and visible part of a school community, this is it.What Youll DoFront Office and Family-Facing OperationsServe as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors setting a welcoming, organized tone from the moment someone walks through the door or picks up the phoneAnswer calls, respond to texts and emails, and communicate proactively with families, community organizations, and the general publicWelcome and orient new staff, families, and students to the school communitySupport school events, special projects, and school leader initiatives as neededStudent and Staff RecordsInput and maintain accurate information in the student information system, including student records, class lists, and electronic filesRecord student and staff attendance daily, contacting families to verify absences as neededCollect and process state-required CORI forms for staff, families, and volunteersAssist with recordkeeping and state-mandated reporting requirementsOperations and AdministrationProcess purchase orders, invoices, and reimbursement requests accurately and on timeOrder and manage office and instructional suppliesSchedule meetings and events for school leadersMaintain internal and external electronic distribution listsCollect and organize funds for deposit by the parent organizationLearn, interpret, and apply school rules, regulations, policies, and procedures and help others understand themPerform other job-related duties as assigned by the school leader or their designeeWhat You BringHigh school diploma or G.E.D.
