Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and sanitation of brewing equipment, ensuring compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
- Support the brewing process by monitoring ingredient additions, temperature controls, and fermentation parameters.
- Help with packaging operations, including labeling, capping, and quality checks to ensure product consistency.
- Operate forklifts and manual handling equipment safely to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies within the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all production areas by following strict sanitation protocols to prevent contamination.
- Adhere to safety standards in production environments by wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following safety procedures for industrial chemical handling and heavy lifting.
- Assist in inventory management, recording production data accurately, and supporting quality assurance inspections throughout the process.
Skills
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures essential for food safety in brewing environments.
- Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards specific to food and beverage production.
- Experience with craft beer production processes including brewing, fermentation, and packaging is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills for brewery equipment maintenance.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts confidently.
- Familiarity with industrial chemical handling protocols to ensure safe working conditions.
- Prior warehouse experience or manufacturing background within the food industry is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail for quality assurance inspections and documentation accuracy.
