Position Overview

This position is responsible for performing various reconciliations within the scope of the Deposit Balancing Department’s functions.

Essential Job Functions

• Reconciles various checking and general ledger accounts using the guidelines set forth in the Deposit Balancing Procedures, which outline specific balancing processes and frequency; reconcilements include but are not limited to the following:
• Davis General Ledger;
• Titan General Ledger;
• Currency and Coin General Ledger;
• ITM/ATM Cash General Ledger;
• Cash In Transit General Ledger;
• Teller Transfer General Ledger;
• Visa Settlement Checking Account;
• DMI Checking Account;
• Transcard Checking account;
• Harland Clarke Checking Account
• Zelle Settlement General Ledger
• Checking Charge off, Recoveries and Fresh Start General Ledgers
• Customer Payroll Ceridian Checking
• Old Second Official checking Accounts
  
  
  

The above list is not all encompassing and accounts will be added and or removed based on ongoing process changes.

• Serves as reviewer on assigned balanced reconcilements, ensures the Precision of Review Procedures are adhered to and that findings are documented appropriately.
• Works with various departments to clear open items on reconcilements.
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and one or more years of banking or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  
  

Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of Account reconciliation process and required documentation
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Good working knowledge of operational functions within the banking environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and team building.
• Flexibility, capability of handling multiple tasks.
• Preferred, but not required
• Banking experience in operational background
  
  
  

Location Details

This position requires the incumbent to work onsite on a daily basis to perform the regular responsibilities of the role.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $20.50 - $26.00
