Job Description:
The Policy Production Typist is primarily responsible for typing owners and loan policies. Duties also include general assistance to policy department manager and assistant manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Types final owners and loan policies in RamQuest; a minimum of 3 per hour
- Communicate with agents and or internal staff to complete title polices, endorsements and or any other documentation needed to complete requests.
- Handles telephone inquiries from both external and internal customers; responds to inquiries regarding file status.
- Assists, if necessary, in remitting files for transmittal to state office
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
- Working knowledge of county clerks public access programs (i.e. property appraiser, taxes, public records, etc.)
- Must be computer literate.
- Must excel in verbal and written communication skills to respond to customer and examiners requests,
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Ability to interface effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and management throughout the Company, as well as customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and good proofing skills.
- Ability to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Must be personable, positive and a professional representative of the Company.
- Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
- Ability to accept supervision.
- Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
- Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
- Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
