Duties
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and administering medications as directed by veterinary staff

- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure both pet and staff safety
- Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and basic trimming to maintain hygiene and comfort
- Support veterinary technicians and assistants with animal examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor animals’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns or abnormalities promptly
- Maintain detailed records of animal care routines, treatments, and observations to ensure accurate documentation
Skills
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain dogs and other pets of various sizes and temperaments
- Experience in dog training or veterinary settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and pet sitting responsibilities
