Primary Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles (pickup trucks, box trucks, or vans) to deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment between warehouse, vendors, and job sites
- Load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques or loading equipment when necessary
- Verify material quantities and delivery accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders
- Maintain delivery logs and required documentation for all pick-ups and drop-offs
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (oil, fluids, tires, etc.)
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Follow established routes and schedules and adapt to changes as needed
- Assist warehouse team with organizing inventory and pulling materials when not driving
- Communicate with project managers, foremen, and purchasing to coordinate delivery priorities
- Report vehicle issues or damage immediately
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all delivery locations
- Assist with small manual labor tasks on-site if requested by supervisors
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- OSHA 10 Certification (Preferred or obtained after hire)
