What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Organic cleaners?
Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting garments in a safe, timely manner. This is 3x day per week role, 4 a.m. departure, driver usually is done by lunch time with complete route.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport garments to 8 different locations in Norfolk
- Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures
- Plan delivery routes using GPS and navigation tools
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Must be able to pass background check for badging access to military base
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation apps
- Retired vet is a plus
*This is an entry pay amount with an opportunity of increase based on job performance and dependability.
