Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, organized, analytical, be able to multitask, possess excellent customer service and telephone skills, be comfortable working primarily from a computer, and be experienced with Microsoft Office applications. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients at the front desk, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Provide clerical support including typing documents, proofreading materials, and managing correspondence.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain office organization through effective filing systems and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance office efficiency and workflow.
- Check mail and take out trash.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office environment or similar administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
