Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, greet guests with warmth, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a vibrant dining atmosphere, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. Responsibilities

• Welcome guests promptly and courteously, establishing a friendly and professional atmosphere.
• Manage restaurant reservation systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, to organize seating and waitlists effectively.
• Coordinate with the dining staff to ensure smooth table management and timely seating of guests.
• Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations.
• Maintain organized front-of-house operations, including handling guest inquiries and managing waitlists with strong organizational skills.
• Support food safety standards by adhering to cleanliness and hygiene protocols in the host area.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Experience

• Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong background in food service or hospitality roles that emphasize customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear, friendly interactions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Basic math skills for managing reservations and seating calculations.
• Experience with POS systems, including Micros POS or other restaurant management software, is a plus.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
