Role Overview:

We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Field Marketing Team Lead to spearhead our local marketing efforts in NYC. This role requires an experienced leader who can organize and execute events, build strong relationships with partners and retailers, and manage a team of 2-3 brand ambassadors. If you have a passion for yerba mate, a creative brain, and a love of human connection, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent Ola Mate at local events, sampling opportunities, in-store demos, and pop-up activations
• Manage and schedule a team of 2-3 Brand Ambassadors in NYC and the surrounding areas
• Identify and secure local events, partnerships, and opportunities that resonate with Ola Mate's target consumers
• Collaborate with retailers to educate staff, support merchandising efforts, and engage with customers through product demos
• Develop market heat maps to target key consumer areas and support influential retailers
• Foster connections with creatives and artistic communities to increase brand awareness
• Capture high-quality content from moments in the field as an extension of our social channel in the field
• Oversee and manage product inventory and infrastructure at a regional warehouse to support ongoing activations
• Collect and report consumer data from events and demos
• Pass along new retailer opportunities to sales team for follow-up

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of field marketing experience, preferably in CPG or Food & Beverage industries
• Deep understanding of nuances, trends, and consumer demographics within your market
• Proven experience hiring, managing, and leading a team of field marketing Brand Ambassadors
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty, working solo and alongside your team
• Competent self-starter with ability to problem solve while managing competing priorities 
• Strong connection to Latino, collegiate, and creative communities
• Ability to analyze the market and make informed decisions based on trends
• Must have reliable transportation and/or clean driving record for driving company vehicle 
• Must be able to move product, event setup, and sampling materials
• Competency in social media content production is a plus

Compensation:

• Contracted 1099 position at $30/hour and 30-40 hours per week depending on availability
• Mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use to storage and activation locations
• Tolls and parking reimbursement to event and activity locations
• 3 cases of Ola Mate per month for personal use and gifting
• Job-related expense reimbursement
