As a Data Analyst Intern on our Data Analytics team within Innovation & Technology, you'll work alongside experienced BI developers and analytics engineers to support reporting, data models, and pipelines used across the business. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade analytics tools while contributing to real, impactful project.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Assist with building and refining semantic models using DAX and Power Query.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.
- Write, test, and optimize SQL queries for data exploration, transformation, and validation.
- Use Python to support data transformations, quality checks, and exploratory analysis.
- Learn and contribute to data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric.
- Document data pipelines, semantic models, and business logic.
- Collaborate with BI developers and business partners to understand reporting needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Are currently pursing or have recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Foundational SQL skills, including writing basic queries, joins, and filters.
- Exposure to Python for data analysis or scripting (e.g., pandas).
- Familiarity with data visualization concepts or tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Coursework or project experience in data modeling or database design is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud analytics platforms or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- A strong desire to learn, ask questions, and take initiative in a collaborative environment.
