What are the responsibilities and job description for the INSURANCE COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST - FULL TIME - 8am-5pm position at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital?
As Full-Time Insurance Collections Specialist, you will work Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00. The collections specialist is responsible for insurance follow-up, monitoring insurance carriers for timely billing, appeals and management of accounts to ensure prompt payment. Will contact patients and insurance companies to expedite payment. The position is eligible for remote work after 90 days.
What’s required of you? High school diploma or equivalent.
Do I need experience? Two years of experience in medical collections, hospital collections preferred.
Specialty Knowledge Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of medical office terminology. Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and data entry skills.
