Job Title: Coordinator of Student Engagement
Reports To: Director of Engagement

Nature of Work
This position is responsible for advancing student recruitment and retention efforts as well as coordinating and executing student engagement programs for the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association (OSUAA). The role provides leadership and advisement for the Student Network and associated programs, including Student Network Board, orientation and enrollment initiatives, Grad Finale, OSUAA scholarship banquet, class ring sales, and Ring Ceremony. This position collaborates with campus and internal partners to enhance student engagement, support membership growth, and strengthen the student-to-alumni pipeline.
Responsibilities
• Recruit, retain, and coordinate participation in the Student Network of the OSU Alumni Association
• Advise and provide leadership development for the Student Network Board and student leaders
• Lead planning and execution of student engagement initiatives during orientation and enrollment and other campus-wide programs
• Coordinate and execute Grad Finale each academic semester
• Develop and implement a robust OSUAA scholarship banquet
• Manage class ring sales in partnership with university vendors, including inventory, ordering, and customer service
• Plan and execute the OSU Class Ring Ceremony each academic semester
• Collaborate with membership and marketing & communications teams to develop and implement student outreach and engagement strategies
• Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with the Director of Engagement
• Provide excellent customer service to students, alumni, and campus partners
• Monitor and analyze program data, goals, and engagement metrics to optimize outcomes
• Perform other duties as assigned
Operational Strategy
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic plans for student engagement programs
• Ensure alignment of programs with the OSU Alumni Association mission and goals
• Utilize data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decision-making
• Partner with communications and marketing teams to promote programs and initiatives
Job Competencies and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in higher education, education, communications, or related field is preferred
Experience:
One to two years of experience working with student organizations, programming, or event coordination is preferred

Work Environment
This position operates in an office environment within the OSU Alumni Center. Events and programs may require outdoor work. Position requires availability to work evenings and weekends based on event scheduling.

• Ability to remain stationary and active for extended periods during events
• Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of town for events or meetings
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
