What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Shop Hand position at Oklahoma Saferoom and Septic?
At Oklahoma Saferoom and Septic, we manufacture quality precast concrete storm shelters, septic tanks and aerobic tanks. We are looking for a dedicated individual to work in our shop.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Production
- Keep safety a priority
- Assist in cleaning and preparing concrete molds, equipment, materials, and workstations for daily production
- Participate in the production process (i.e. pouring/troweling concrete, cutting/bending metal) with various tools/equipment, performing hands-on tasks to support the team and meet production goals
- Quickly and effectively communicate all known issues to shop manager ie inventory shortages, quality issues, personnel issues, safety issues, and equipment needs/breakage
- Sweeping/cleaning the shop
- Various other duties as assigned

All tools are provided.
The work environment is not climate controlled and temperatures will vary.
- Work Schedule : Monday- Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (times may slightly vary with time of year)
- Holidays Off with Pay

- Time and a half for overtime
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and have full mobility
