What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Laborer-Concrete Hand position at Hammer Construction?
Looking for experienced (minimum 2 years) Concrete Laborers. A construction professional who specializes in pouring concrete at construction job sites. They set up forms to create walls, structures or pillars at construction sites anywhere from roadsides to building foundations. Safety knowledge, certification preferred. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and subject to random testing.
It is standard for laborers to perform a variety of duties involving physical labor on a variety of projects. Common duties will include but are not limited to operation of hand and power tools, clean and preparation of job sites, loading and unloading of materials/tools, identifying building materials, machinery, and tools, and distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans and specifications. Laborers are expected to be able to endure physical demands such as bend, stoop, squat, or stand for a significant period of time, lift at least fifty pounds, climb a ladder, and withstand outside temperature changes.
