Job Description: The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Consumer Recovery Specialist to join our dedicated team in the Oklahoma City metro area. OCCIC provides short-term, non-hospital crisis stabilization for adults experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and/or co-occurring conditions. The Senior CRS will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a trauma-informed, co-occurring, person-centered, and recovery-oriented setting. Job Type/Salary:

  • Full-time position

  • Base Salary: $37,627.20 annually plus shift differentials and a generous benefits allowance!
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Number of Vacancies: 1

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (substituting four years of relevant experience for a bachelor’s degree)
  • Strong preference for candidates who have completed the DMHSAS-sponsored Consumer Recovery Specialist certificate program
  • Preference for current OCCIC employees

Special requirements:

  • Willing to fulfill any job-related travel
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license at the time of appointment
  • May be required to obtain a Case Management I certification

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
