Essential Duties
Great Teaching & Learning (Instructional Infrastructure):
Focus: Strengthening instructional planning, school improvement, and academic support systems.
- Provide technical assistance to Title I schools regarding program implementation, educational initiatives, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the development, selection, and adaptation of curriculum materials, learning resources, and pilot instructional programs.
- Support schoolwide planning, needs assessments, and program evaluations aligned to school improvement goals.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of progress for schools identified for improvement.
- Collect, organize, and compile information necessary for intervention activities and program performance evaluation.
- Support effective implementation of evidence-based instructional strategies and school improvement initiatives.
Focus: Building leadership capacity and supporting school personnel.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to principals and school leadership teams regarding Title I requirements and implementation.
- Collaborate with school and district staff to support planning, budgeting, and program execution.
- Assist school principals in implementing effective parent involvement and outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with staff through advisory committees, ad hoc committees, and task forces to strengthen program implementation and stakeholder engagement.
- Promote professional collaboration and shared departmental responsibilities during peak workload periods or staff absences.
Focus: Promoting collaboration, family engagement, and shared accountability for student success.
- Foster collaborative relationships between district departments, school leaders, and stakeholders to support school improvement efforts.
- Promote meaningful parent and family engagement within Title I programs.
- Provide information and publication services to recruit, inform, and involve families in Title I initiatives.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and shared responsibility for student achievement.
- Maintain open communication with school leaders regarding program expectations, improvement efforts, and compliance requirements.
Focus: Ensuring compliance, monitoring, accountability, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide direction in formulating, implementing, and coordinating Title I programs to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Assist in program planning and budgeting at both the site and district levels.
- Monitor inventories of instructional materials and equipment at school sites and district offices.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for local, state, and federal compliance.
- Provide written documentation to principals and the Executive Director of Federal Programs regarding activities or behaviors that may constitute violations of local, state, or federal policies, rules, or laws.
- Assist the Executive Director of Federal Programs with preparation of the district's annual Title I consolidated application, budgets, and required reports.
- Ensure compliance with No Child Left Behind/ESEA Waiver requirements and federal program regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of district and federal program operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university required.
- Five (5) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a Title I setting
- Current Oklahoma Teaching certificate required
- Demonstrated experience with federal programs, compliance monitoring, grant-funded programs, or school improvement initiatives preferred.
- Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse educational community.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education at a 2:1 ratio. Therefore for every 1 year of college lacking, 2 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted.
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Administration, or related field
- Knowledge and experience of Title I regulations, school improvement planning, and program evaluation processes preferred.
- Experience with budget planning, grant budgeting, data analysis, reporting systems or resource allocation
- Must have adequate manual dexterity to write legibly and perform required duties on the computer.
- Must have adequate visual acuity to read, interpret and transcribe written material and other required duties.
- Requires normal range of hearing and clear speaking abilities to interact appropriately with others in person and on the telephone.
- Physical agility, able to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, walk, reach and climb stairs.
- Requires some stooping, bending, stretching and occasional lifting not to exceed 25 pounds.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- May periodically require work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, under sometimes. stressful conditions in order to meet business needs and strict deadlines.
- Office duties will be performed in a well-lighted, climate controlled environment.
