The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including posting transactions to the general ledger, managing vehicle inventory records and supporting accounts receivable/payable functions.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling and posting daily deposits to the general ledger.
- Stocking in used vehicle inventory.
- Assisting with general ledger entries for used and wholesale billing.
- Managing lien payoffs.
- Maintaining and reconciling accounting schedules regularly.
- Assisting with month-end close, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and special projects.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
