About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment. You will also be responsible for operating the dishwashing machine using appropriate supplies and procedures, ensuring adequate supplies of dishes and utensils at all times, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen floors and dishwashing area.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Previous restaurant or related experience is preferred, but not required. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and valid New Mexico Food Handler certification are required. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays, and be comfortable with frequent exposure to heat, steam, noise, and odors. They must also be able to stand for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
