What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Room Attendant position at Ojo Spa Resorts?
Job Title: Busser/Food Runner
The primary duty of the Busser is to ensure that unoccupied tables are ready to receive new guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare dining room for guests by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to the beginning of service.
- Maintain table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary.
- Refill water and other beverages; serves alcoholic beverages only if legally permitted to do so.
Additional Responsibilities:
- BUS used and unneeded dishes and glassware from guest tables to dish-pit.
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to the dish-pit for cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations.
Key Requirements:
- Previous restaurant or related experience, ideally in a resort setting, preferred.
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Punctuality and reliability are critical.
