ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remove flash from less critical/expensive molded parts.
• Record count of parts for production record.
• Record elapsed work time on production record.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comprehensive reading skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic verbal and written communication skills required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to follow safe work practices and instructions including care with sharp cutting tools
• Familiar with hand tools such as snips, exacto knives, scissors, lathes, grinding wheels, punch presses, etc.
• Basic computer skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moderate physical effort required
• Some lifting necessary not more than twenty pounds
• Lifting from floor to waist/waist to shoulder
• Prolonged sitting/walking/bending/twisting/crouching and squatting
• Awkward postures of neck, shoulder, wrist, elbow or fingers
• Frequent work in confined spaces or close quarters
• Use of vibrating tools
• Ability to hear and speak clearly
• Repetitive motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder or neck movement
• Forceful hand grasp
• Precise dexterity
• Ability to read
• Pushing/pulling forces up to 20 pounds
• Reaching from shoulder level or below/shoulder to overhead and while holding objects weighing 10 pounds
• Occasional climbing of ladders/scaffolds and stairs
• Ability to see to distinguish colors, prepare/analyze figures, prepare/review documents, visually inspect and measure/assemble at a close distance
• Frequent/occasional use of forklifts, power tools and slicing/cutting equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Exposure to extreme weather conditions
• Exposure to smoke and dust
• High noise level
