Essential Functions
• Coordinate and support the administration and continuous improvement of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ensuring alignment with operational practices and broader EHS objectives.
• Support workplace safety initiatives by reinforcing compliance with OSHA-related requirements, company policies, and safe work practices in coordination with site leadership.
• Monitor regulatory developments (EPA, OSHA, DOT, and applicable international standards), including emerging requirements related to PFAS and restricted substances, and assist with integrating requirements into company processes.
• Act as a central coordination point for EHS, ESG, and product compliance information, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely responses to customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate environmental and safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, track findings and follow-up actions to completion.
• Assist in managing environmental programs, including hazardous and nonhazardous waste, chemical compliance, and sustainability metrics, while supporting safe handling, storage, and disposal practices.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements, including substance-based reporting obligations under applicable environmental regulations.
• Utilize systems such as SAP and other internal tools to gather, track, and analyze production, material, and compliance data.
• Coordinate the collection, validation, and maintenance of environmental, energy, product, and material compliance data, including chemical composition and restricted substance information, to support reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate materials, processes, and new product introductions for environmental and safety compliance risks.
• Support coordination and delivery of environmental and safety training (e.g., RCRA, DOT, or site-specific requirements), as applicable.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction efforts.
• Translate technical regulatory and ESG requirements into clear, actionable information for internal teams and external customers.
