We are seeking a dedicated and experienced(at least 3 years experience) Superintendent to oversee commercial siding projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of commercial siding processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members to maintain project flow and resolve any issues that may arise. This position also requires the candidate to be able to commute on a daily basis.
Duties
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Review project plans, specifications, and schematics to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to project timelines.
- Utilize construction management software (such as Procore) for project tracking and reporting.
- Prepare construction estimates and budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, addressing any concerns or changes in scope promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and tools.
- Experience using construction management software such as Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on job sites.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills.
