Senior Power Electronics Engineer | Boston, MA (Onsite)
I'm partnering with an innovative technology company developing next-generation hardware systems to hire a Senior Power Electronics Engineer.
In this role, you'll design and develop low-noise power electronics for highly sensitive, precision hardware, taking projects from architecture and prototyping through testing, validation, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design low-noise AC/DC and DC/DC power systems, linear regulators, and precision power delivery solutions.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot power electronics hardware and mixed-signal designs.
- Optimize power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC performance, thermal management, and system stability.
- Support system integration, validation, and transition from prototype to production.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5 years of power electronics experience.
- Strong expertise in DC/DC converters, linear regulation, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and low-noise design.
- Experience with PCB design, SPICE simulation, and MATLAB and/or Python.
- Background in precision instrumentation, scientific hardware, or other noise-sensitive systems is highly desirable.
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 base salary, plus equity.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
