Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages candidate pre-hire through hire onboarding process ensuring hiring activities are completed with urgency, consistency, and accuracy.
- Facilitate candidate skills testing for appropriate positions.
- Schedule employees for drug screen, background, fit test, physicals and safety council classes; communicate that to them.
- Support other recruiters as needed with on-boarding tasks.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure hiring needs and scheduling are being met.
- Responsive to incoming calls from applicants and employees, answering questions and providing guidance to ensure a positive recruiting and onboarding experience.
- Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.
- Ensure that HR activities are completed in accordance with HR Work Processes.
- Thrives in a very fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining consistency of service.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through various channels.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Provide effective communication with employees and a timely resolution to their inquiries related to their on-boarding process.
- Willing and capable of working overtime as required; after hours/weekends.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum five (5) years of related work experience preferably in an industry setting.
- High level of proficiency with DISA.
- Familiarity with Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to be flexible, navigate change and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to learn and improve.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers.
- Effective time-management skills, multitasking and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to assess and evaluate candidate qualifications.
