Infection Control Nurse & Clinical Manager | Long-Term Care
Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate Infection Control Nurse & Clinical Manager to join our long-term care team. This role blends infection prevention expertise with clinical leadership, ensuring our residents receive the safest and highest-quality care.
Infection Control Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control protocols.
- Educate and train staff on best practices and compliance with state/federal regulations.
- Track and report infection trends to facility leadership and public health authorities.
- Serve as the key liaison with external health agencies.
Clinical Management Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure quality care for all residents.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care partners.
- Lead clinical problem-solving and respond to emergencies on the floor.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of OH (LPNs with strong leadership and infection control experience will be considered).
- Previous experience in infection prevention or clinical management preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
