The Opportunity We are seeking Cooks to work at high-volume airport restaurants with the opportunity to grow and advance. Work for well-known restaurants that are Kansass City based. RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES

• Prepare food for service. Using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
• Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment.
• Assists in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Speed and efficiency are of the utmost importance. Ability to multi-task and organizational structure.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Can communicate effectively in English
• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
• Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
