POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician performs all general maintenance and repair functions within the approved guidelines and as directed. Individual must have extensive knowledge of all aspects of Maintenance job duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry
- Extensive knowledge of drywall
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing
- Extensive knowledge of electrical
- Extensive knowledge of carpet laying
- Extensive knowledge of tile work
- Extensive knowledge of painting
- Extensive knowledge of concrete
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA Standards and internal safety policies and procedures.
- Operates company vehicles as required.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
- Supports the Maintenance department as needed and assigned.
- Responsible for use and care of tools and equipment.
- Must have a valid New Mexico Drivers License
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have five (5) years experience in Maintenance.

Use of all hand tools common to the trades listed above. Use and knowledge of functions of all types of equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Subject to extreme temperatures, conditions and changes. Subject to stressful conditions during peak service hours, periods when employees have not arrived or are out sick. Subject to slips and falls on slippery floors, as well as crowded conditions in a stressful environment.
