Duties
- Operate a variety of press machines, , with a focus on maintaining close tolerances and high precision.
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machinery such as CNC laser cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brakes to meet detailed specifications.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate production.
- Perform precision measurements using measuring instruments and quality inspection tools to verify component dimensions and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and machine operation skills for part fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, measurements, and quality control reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating press machines with close tolerance requirements.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency in press brake load toolingl
- Familiarity with measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
- Ability to perform shop math accurately for machining calculations and adjustments.
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and strict adherence to safety protocols during machine operation.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, welding, forming processes, and assembly is a plus.
- Basic understanding of shop math, electrical systems related to machinery, and metal fabrication techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with strong attention to detail ensures consistent quality output.
