What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chaplain- PRN position at Ohio s Hospice Inc?
Job Summary/Purpose
Offers care grounded in initiating, developing, deepening and closing a spiritual and empathic relationship with those receiving care.
Qualifications
• Master of Divinity degree or equivalent in Theology (with the exception of those grandfathered in from legacy affiliates).
• Ordained or commissioned minister that is ecclesiastically endorsed by a recognized faith group or religious organization.
• Board certified, eligible for certification, or working towards professional certification by APC, BCC-HPCC, NACC, or NAJC.
• Minimum of one Clinical Pastoral Education (with the exception of those grandfathered in from legacy affiliates).
• Three years of current active pastoral ministry or chaplaincy experience.
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
What You Should Know About the Chaplain Role:
- This is a PRN role with the hours of 8:30AM-5PM.
- This position requires travel between Newark, Columbus, and surrounding areas.
