What You Will Do:
As an AmeriCorps Member, you will receive comprehensive training and be assigned to one for the school year to serve 30 hours/week. Your day-to-day will include:
- Targeted Mentoring: Provide 1:1 or small-group support to 5th-12th grade students who could use some additional support in non-academic areas (attendance, emotion regulation, school connection, relationships, etc.)
- Consistent Mentorship: Work with a designated, consistent list of students to track progress and build their confidence over the school year.
- Collaboration: Partner with school staff to implement proven mentoring strategies.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a dedicated service position. In return for your 9-month commitment, you will receive:
- Monthly Living Stipend: $1,500 per month.
- Segal AmeriCorps Education Award: Up to $3,750 upon successful completion of your service term (can be used to pay off existing student loans or future college tuition).
