Ohio Premium Provisions, Inc. an authorized distributor of the Boar's Head Brand is looking for a sales person familiar with the food service business either from previous sales experience or from previous experience as a chef in the food service arena (Restaurants, Business Dining, College and University, Hospitality, etc.) to join our sales team to acquire, maintain, and develop new and existing accounts and to utilize their skills as a chef to assist customers with menu and recipe development, share best practices, cost savings and product utilization to maximize profit and increase top line sales. Duties:
* Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
* Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
* Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
* Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
* Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
* Develops recipes and portion specifications by understanding consumer tastes and nutritional needs; anticipating emerging food and dining trends; reviewing product specifications; evaluating ease of menu preparation; applying established procedures and budgetary constraints.
*Plans and executes culinary events in store and for other company venues

REQUIREMENTS:
-Successful street sales experience in a foodservice B2B (business-to-business) environment a plus.
- Representing a premium or luxury brand experience may be a plus, though not required.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as a high level of Internet savvy are required.
- A broad understanding of basic mathematical functions, including weights and measures.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Sales personality that demonstrates patience and persistence for the sales process.
- Ability to represent the brand internally and externally, and be able to stand behind our company vision process
- Can sell branded concepts as well as branded solutions.
