Essential Functions
- Learns actuarial and/or business analytics techniques and their applications.
- Develops, tests, and/or validates models that support experience analysis.
- Gathers and validates data to aid in the development of business models.
- Supports efforts in projecting financial results and sensitivity analysis.
- Summarizes and communicates results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attends training classes, seminars, and other educational events.
- Attends monthly and quarterly meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Normal office working conditions.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Occasional lifting and carrying heavy file boxes.
- Frequent use of computer which is associated with eye strain and fatigue.

Experience Requirements
- Possesses or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Risk Management Programming, or a related field.
- Experience working with and proficiency in using spreadsheet software.
- Individuals intending to transition into an actuarial position are expected to show clear progress toward obtaining Associateship with the Casualty Actuarial Society.
