Shift Team Leader will:
Communicate with co-workers and direct supervision to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Organize daily shipping and receiving activity.
Order disbursement.
Overall cleanliness of the work area.
Must have aptitude to use and operate a computer including basic e-mail functions as well as operate a scanning device.
Supervise Warehouse Associates/Forklift Operators.
Review associate timecards. Perform associate evaluations and handle associate discipline when needed
Perform functions within our Customers data base (SAP), this includes completions and transfers.
Physical presence on a set and predictable schedule
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
High School diploma or GED
One-year supervisory experience
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Basic computer skills
Competencies:
Communication skills
Attention to detail
Multi-tasking
Self-Motivated
Organizational skills
Decision making
Results-Oriented
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
Sitting for several hours
