ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mentor and support new and existing associates through hands-on training, cross-training, and onboarding activities.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and reinforce company safety standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Assist production teams with material handling, staging, loading, and unloading of steel and other manufacturing materials.
- Support machine setup and operation across multiple production areas while helping associates learn equipment processes and procedures.
- Operate shop equipment safely, including cranes, forklifts, saws, torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and oxy-fuel cutting tools.
- Perform routine production tasks such as inspection, deburring, sorting, labeling, packaging, and finishing of parts and materials.
- Maintain efficient workflow by transporting materials, scrap, and consumables throughout the plant.
- Complete accurate ERP transactions for inventory tracking, material usage, labor reporting, and production documentation.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy and staging materials to support uninterrupted production flow.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and communication between departments and shifts.
- Identify production, equipment, or quality concerns and communicate issues promptly to leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and departmental expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
