The Opportunity: We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Release Coordinator [Program Administrator 1] to join our Bureau of Records and Sentence Computation. In this role, you will serve as the Juvenile Justice Case Management System (JJCMS) Judicial Contact Data Coordinator, handling non-routine administrative duties, auditing sensitive youth records, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; and 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; and 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative, managerial &/or staff position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Records Auditing and Compliance
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of youth judicial, prosecutorial, and law enforcement associations and dissociations
- Utilize IT generated audit tools and internal/external notifications to conduct monthly and annual review of youth judicial, prosecutorial, and law enforcement associations to ensure accuracy and correct any identified discrepancies
- Conduct audits of youth records prior to release (e.g., Minimum Sentence Expiration Date (MSED), judicial release hearings); verify the accuracy of youth’s MSED, judicial contact relationships, documents in OnBase, and pending charge(s) status
- Collaborate with Release Authority and Reentry to identify eligible youth scheduled for release or discharge and ensure compliance with Ohio Revised Code
- Work collaboratively with facility, Release Authority, and parole staff to resolve any outstanding matters prior to a youth’s release
- Research each youth prior to release to affirm there are no outstanding warrants via the Law Enforcement Automated Data Search (LEADS) system and the Ohio Court Network
- Serve as backup to LEADS Terminal Agency Coordinator
- Serve as the initial reviewer and validator of the Sentence Verification process; provide commitment quality assurance; identify and resolve commitment discrepancies
- Assist Legal Services with verifying youth attorney representation verification in accordance with policy, and update JJCMS Contact Relationship accordingly
- Support Legal Services as necessary by gathering, compiling, reviewing, and redacting various packets and/or videos
